Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic Fun for a Little One Comment: My 3 month old loves this toy. He can grab onto all of the diferent rubbery parts of the toy and get it in his mouth. It's great practice for his grabbing skills. Highly recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: Molly's Number One Toy so far Comment: Molly is currently six months old, and this has consistently been her favorite thing to reach for and play with since she first started noticing things more than a foot away from her as a newborn. She LOVES this toy-loves to look at it, grab it, stick it in her mouth, bang it against things, whatever. It seems like such a simple thing, yet it has proven fascinating to her when she gets bored with other things. It is also extremely easy to clean, and you can use links to hook it to a bouncy seat, stroller, etc.
Other parents I know have said that their kids love this toy, too. It is colorful, soft enough that Molly doesn't hurt herself if she bonks herself in the face with it, and neat-looking!

So, we bought him one and he is still enjoying it a month later. The nice thing about it is that no matter where the baby's little hands go, they can grab onto it pretty successfully every time, which is nice for infants. It's very chewy, and you can put it in the freezer to cool it down for teething discomfort. (Having said all that, though, this is our second Winkel. Quite some time ago, we gave away the one we had bought for our daughter when she was an infant; she never showed a great deal of interest in it. So, there you go...)
