We bought it when she was about 4 months, when she started sucking on her toys, and she has always loved it. Customer Rating: Summary: Early Teething Comment: My son started teething early (3 months) and he was not yet able to control his movements enough to chew on teething objects. He was however able to grab things and this butterfly was so easy for him to pick up. The one wing is like a handle and it easy for him to move and light enough for him to get to his mouth. As the days go by he is finally able to chew on it for a few seconds before he loses the control. He is still unable or uninterested in doing this with any other teething toy. Plus he somehow finds the butterfly entertaining. A+ for a young teether.
